Philosophy

Raquel Orozco is a luxury ready-to-wear brand with a multicultural cosmopolitan design concept, designed for the real woman with real life and real measurements, founded in 2011 by designer Raquel Orozco.
Each piece created upholds the principles of size inclusivity, zero waste, and a firm belief in the concept of "slow fashion." Raquel designs collections with a more detailed approach and process that requires more time. She offers more exclusive and timeless limited editions, carefully monitoring the ethical standards of each of her workers, pouring her heart and experience into each garment, and, together with her team, fosters an honest and responsible way of working.
Raquel designs for herself, before anyone else, and creates pieces that she'll want to wear first—and wear constantly. Instead of clothes made to dazzle on the runway, she designs spectacular everyday clothes.
She finds inspiration in her surroundings, in her appreciation for the small and large things that life presents to us every day and the women she meets along the way who inspire her and, of course, in her privileged sensitivity, to see beyond the facade and thus be able to reach the heart of things, and of people, going deep into each story and bringing it to each collection with an avid sense of color and shapes.

THE BEST MATERIALS - CRAFTSMANSHIP - ETHICS AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Responsible and thoughtful production and local elaboration.
Continuing with the principles of zero waste, Raquel has found various ways to work with fabrics and all the functional leftovers, which she then transforms into garments or accessories. Thus, in each collection, there is a piece created using this process that becomes a limited-edition piece... unique and unrepeatable by definition.
Their production is always limited to reinforce the importance of thoughtful consumption, and if demand is high, they are re-produced. This way, they ensure they don't produce excess pieces that end up on shelves and don't use materials that could be repurposed for other uses.
The brand's collections are filled with pieces that express themselves through color, shapes, and textures, combining different types of materials in a single garment, using artisanal techniques such as embroidery, hand-painting, special cuts, and pleats.
